Full five-day school, three-day hybrid with home learning, or a microschool of 12-40 students. Hybrids are the fastest-growing model in the metro because they use existing church space, keep tuition near $4,000, and still qualify for private scholarships.
2. Understand Colorado's requirements
Colorado does not license or accredit private schools. Non-public schools must provide a basic academic program, keep attendance, and meet health and safety codes for the facility. Teachers do not need state licensure. Preschools and daycares, by contrast, are licensed by the state — plan for that if you serve under-5s.
3. Set tuition against the funding stack
